Trip or Treats' Listerine Natural Green Tea + Goodie Giveaway

I am very particular about dental hygiene. To be honest, I just care about having nice bright teeth. I went through two rounds of braces, first to align my big teeth, and then a second time to realign them again after I became lazy to wear my retainers. This time, I have a permanent retainer so that part I don’t need to worry about.

Having troubles on makeup when wearing glasses?

Here are some simple tips for you dearies. 

Personally, I don't actually wear prescription glasses as I have normal 20/20 vision

but I do accessorize myself using fashion glasses, just simply for aesthetic purposes.

FACE:

Best to keep it matte and light. If you need heavier coverage make sure that the foundation you are using has a good quality, doesn't come off and smudge easily as the glasses tend to slide up and down. 

If you have bad circles (like me) then concealing is a must as the frames of  glasses cast shadows making the under eye area look darker. Don't forget to "set" your face makeup!

EYES:

Determine the style of your glasses. Apply primers as it lessens the creasing of eye shadows.

Flamboyant colors are risky but may fit light colored eye glasses and rimless glasses.

Keep your eye subtle for framed eye glasses to avoid clashing and drawing too much attention.

Best to keep the eyes "natural looking" yet pretty and bright. Neutrals are your best friend.

Working with eye liners are more tricky this time. Keep it thin when you have fully framed glasses. It may vary with your eye shape and eye glasses style, try to experiment and see which looks best on you. Best to use waterproof and long lasting eye liners. Pick waterproof mascaras as well. Using volumizing than lengthening mascara does also make sense, the former helps to frame your eye shape while the later might just end up sticking on your lens. White eyeliner helps to lift the eyes. Lastly, do not forget to define your brows, this will frame up the whole makeup look.

CHEEKS:

Light pinks are perfect as it adds color to the face yet it doesn't usually clash with glasses' frame. Try to use blush is upward strokes to create focal points and draw attention of the people on your eyes.

LIPS:

Lip color would actually vary on the color of your glasses, your personal preference, what you are wearing and the event that you will be attending. As long as you can rock it, then sport it!
